Orientate was created to support migrants moving to Australia by providing easy-to-understand, relevant information about everyday life and work in Australia. Whether you're arriving as an international student, a skilled professional, or relocating with your family, our mission is to make your settlement journey smoother, faster, and more empowering.

Our content is built around real-life challenges faced by new arrivals, from navigating the rental market and healthcare system, to managing finances, accessing public transport, and adapting to Australian culture.

Founded by Oyin and Lade, who migrated to Australia over 30 years ago, Orientate was created to help others navigate the same journey with confidence and clarity. We know what it’s like to arrive in a new country, unsure of how things work, because we’ve been there.

"I arrived in Australia as a child over 30 years ago. Like many new migrants, I had to learn how things worked from the ground up, school, work, community, culture. That experience shaped the way I support others today."
Oyin is a successful professional with a background in healthcare, consulting, and education. Over the years, she has guided hundreds of people through complex systems with empathy and clarity. At Orientate, she brings that same focus to helping newcomers build a strong foundation in Australia.
Meet Lade

I know first-hand the challenges of starting again in a new country, finding work, building connections, and learning new systems. That journey has made me passionate about helping others do it with less stress and more support.

Lade is an experienced professional with a strong background as an executive in human resources, and career development and coaching. She brings a practical, outcomes-driven mindset to Orientate, ensuring every workshop, guide, and course is relevant, real, and effective for migrants building their new life.
