Welcome to Orientate ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any purchase or engaging with our services.

Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 Orientate provides training, resources, templates, and guides to support new migrants to settle into life in Australia.

 

1.2 These terms and conditions govern your use of our website, products, and services. By engaging with our offerings, you confirm that you agree to these terms.

 

2. Eligibility

 

2.1 Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By purchasing or using our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

 

2.2 If you are using a "buy now, pay later" option, you must comply with the terms and conditions of the payment provider.

3. Payment and Pricing
​

3.1 Payment for all services must be made at the time of purchase. We accept payments through selected payment processers, such as Stripe and PayPal, subject to their terms of service.

​

3.2 All prices are listed on our website in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include any applicable taxes.

​

3.3 If using a "buy now, pay later" provider, you are responsible for adhering to their payment terms and completing your scheduled payments.

3.4 We reserve the right to modify prices or payment terms at any time. Changes will not affect existing orders.

4. Digital Products (including access to our learning management system)
​

4.1 Upon successful payment, digital products (e.g., access to training in our learning management system, guides, templates, tools) will be made available for download or access.

 

4.2 Due to the nature of digital products, all purchases are final and non-refundable once the product has been downloaded or accessed.

 

4.3 If you experience issues with a digital product, please contact us within 7 days, and we will work to resolve the problem.

5. Resume Writing Services

​

5.1 We provide personalised resume writing services based on the information you provide. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information submitted.

​

5.2 Our services are intended to assist and empower clients but do not guarantee specific outcomes, such as securing a job or obtaining interviews.

​

5.3 Payment

  • Payments must be made in full at the time of booking via secure platforms such as PayPal or Stripe.

 

5.4 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Payments for services are non-refundable once the service has commenced or the agreed materials have been delivered.

  • You may cancel your request before we begin working on your resume, subject to a cancellation fee of $25 to cover administrative costs.

5.5. Accuracy of Information:

  • You must provide accurate and truthful information for all services. We are not liable for errors or omissions resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.

5.6. Engagement in Services:

  • Clients are expected to actively participate in sessions and provide feedback as needed to maximise the value of the services.

 

5.7 Final Product

  • The custom resume will be based on the information provided by the customer. For our 'Custom Resume for Student Job' product (which is sold individually and as part of the 'Get Ready for Work in Australia' bundle, the customer will receive one resume based on the job of their choice. the resume emailed to the customer is final and will be sent in a format that allows the customer to make edits and adjust the information for each job application.

6. Interview Coaching Services

6.1. Our interview coaching services are designed to improve your interview skills through mock interviews, feedback, and guidance.
6.2 Cancellations and refunds
  • Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the session may be rescheduled or refunded, minus a $25 administrative fee.

  • Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.

6.4 Engagement in Services:

7. Workshops

​

7.1 Booking and Payment

  • All workshop bookings must be paid in full at the time of registration.

​

7.2 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date are eligible for a full refund or credit towards another workshop.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop date are not eligible for a refund but may be eligible for credit at our discretion.

  • No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.

7.3 Rescheduling

  • You may request to reschedule your workshop booking by contacting us at least 48 hours before the scheduled date. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

 

7.4 Workshop Changes

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund, credit, or the option to transfer their booking to another workshop.

8. General Information Sessions

8.1 We offer group and individual information sessions to provide insights into Australia that may assist with your move. These sessions are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice.

8.2 Cancellation and Refunds

8.3 Session Changes

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund, credit, or the option to transfer their booking to another time.

9. Use of Website and Intellectual Property

9.1 All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Orientate or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

 

9.2 Ownership:

  • All content, templates, and materials provided by us remain our intellectual property. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal purposes only.

 

9.3 Prohibited Use:

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise any content without our prior written consent.
